After doing the black and white, I thought it was finally time to add some color to my geode nails. Read along for a quick walkthrough on geode-ish nails.
First, lay down a base of your glitter that will be the sparkly geode part. For this, I used MAC’s Quick Million. You can either do them all as halves or whole finger geode’s or a mix of both. I went with a mix of both.
Then, start with your black and make the lines that you will follow to the end. For the half-geode nails, make a sketchy line across the nail. For the whole nail, make a sketchy circle that will expand from that point.
I went in a pattern of black-white-purple-glitter-repeat.
And you’re done! I really hope that wasn’t too “now draw the rest of the fucking owl” of a tutorial, but once you get used to it, it’s actually a quick and easy way to make some “wow” nails!
