Hello hello! I’m back with another tutorial!
It’s been a hot minute, but I’ve actually switched to posting a LOT more frequently on Instagram, and hopping on here every once in a while for some tutorials and reviews.
Sometimes, I sit down to film a nail tutorial without a clear idea of how to get to the final product I’m imagining. For that reason, sometimes I just take some pictures of the final products and share them on Instagram.
But, I do have a bunch of tutorials that do need posting. I thought a good place to start would be with my new favorite. I’ve always loved the galaxy, but lately, I have been loving the minimal approach.
It takes so much less work, product and effort to get (what I believe) is a much cleaner galaxy. Here we go!
You’ll need a navy blue (my new favorite polish of all time is Sally Hansen’s Dark Hue-Mor), a light blue, a white, and a multicolored glitter (if you want). You’ll also need a cosmetic sponge wedge.
Above is Dark Hue-Mor. It’s so dark, so rich. Ahhhh.
After applying your navy blue and letting it dry all the way, paint some of the light blue on the wedge and dab it sporadically onto each nail, which can be seen above and below)
Let the light blue dry and paint the white onto the sponge. Apply the white over the blue, but in a more concentrated spot.
Last but not least, take that glitter and apply the tiniest amount where there was no navy. Wait for it to dry, and ya done!
