I’m making up for lost time. I really had so much planned before I left for Disney, and once I got back life just hit me hard and fast.
But really, I wanted to show off what I got for Christmas! I have a lot of awesome people around me that know the way to my heart, and that way is makeup! I also plan on using what I got for Christmas for wedding makeup, so when I was asked what I wanted for Christmas, that is totally what I had in mind.
I also never ever get to post like, huge hauls because when I shop for makeup, it’s usually one, well-researched product at a time. What a lame haul. But this is a great haul! I’m so excited and some of these things have become my immediate home run favorites. Seriously, I am so thankful for everything I have been fortunate enough to be gifted.
I’ll start with my boss. I was not expecting such a generous gift, this was so unbelievably amazing!
I am so excited to try it all! That bronzer brush is actually the fluffiest ever. I also love, love love that Patentpolish lip pencil from MAC. It’s a perfect cool, baby pink. It reminds me of Benefit’s posi-tint, but a little more cool toned a little more pigmented. I’ve actually been looking for something like that for a long time! Conveniently enough, the MAC anniversary gift this year is another Patentpolish pencil–and that’s on its way this week since the one I got for Christmas was so great.
Onto what I got from the fam. These were the things I specifically asked for thinking they would be great for the wedding. For an eye look, I want to go super neutral and soft with badaboom lashes, and I’ve heard nothing but great things about that Kat Von D Shade and Light Eye palette. So excited to play. I also wanted to try out some new brow products since I’ve only ever used the NYX pencil and ELF pencil.
And, like every other bride, I went with the MUFE Ultra HD foundation. I gave it a test drive, it’s as amazing as everyone claims. I get the hype. In fact, I’ve tried all of these products, and they are ALL worth the hype. Color me impressed.
Also, Sephora included this AMAZING gift bag as a gift with purchase with this order! And with this little extra, I discovered my new favorite skincare product! The Lancome Énergie de Vie The Smoothing & Plumping Pearly Lotion (what a mouthful). I plan to purchase the full size of this ASAP. And how cute is that little travel makeup bag? Seriously amazing. I was already over the moon, this just made it so much better.
I also forgot to include this with the above haul. It is from my mom, and also from Macy’s, not Sephora. These Inglot pigments have to be makeup’s best-kept secret. These do not get the hype they deserve. This has immediately become one of my favorite eyeshadows of all time. I was never one for pigments, but with this product, I have converted. These are amazing!! This shade is most similar to Makeup Geek’s Ritzy, but with so much more glitz.
And last, but certainly not least, the ENTIRE OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s set from my future MIL and GMIL. Nail polish, mini’s, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Do they know me, or do they know me? All of these polishes are amazing. I’ve actually been using them non-stop since the new year.
2017 is going to be a great year. I have a lot of things planned, both in life and with this blog. Happy hauling, everyone! Sometimes, you really just need some good new stuff to get you excited, and that’s okay. See ya next time everyone!
