Is there anything more summer than lime? All this warm weather has me dying for summer, so I’m kicking the summer nail art into gear, starting with these limes.
Start with a green. Something similar to the color of an uncut lime. With that green, make circles or half circles (cut off at the edge) This will be the outside of your lime. If it’s a little too wobbly, even it out with a nail art brush and that same green.
After that, take either a very light green or a yellow and make a smaller circle, inside that original circle so that the darker green leaves a circle outline.
I used a thin, vibrant yellow, so it took two coats in the center to become opaque. After I applied the yellow, I went in again with the green to further bring out the green outline.
After that, take a white and a nail art brush and make a line in between the green and the yellow, like below. I also made a tiny green circle in what I imagine is the center of every lime.
Last step is to draw white lines originating from the center of the lime, where those green centers are and extend them outward in a circle, like shown below. And that’s it, lime party on the nails!
